Project Ride Cumbria aims to explore the potential of equine resources to help individuals to grow and experience untapped potential and recovery from life limiting situations
Pat Wright, the Facilitator has a background in the health services as a Nurse and health visitor and worked on a volunteer basis for the Prison Fellowship, as well as working with local village toddler and youth groups and pastoral care for the elderly. Pat saw the potential for horses and ponies to be part of the solution for a wide range of life challenges whilst working with her young daughter as she learned to care for her own pony within a large livery community. She began to explore avenues of existing support and has formed connections that she believes can be brought together to enlarge possibilities .
